No Landlines For You In Minnesota
A few bills floating around the state house in Minnesota could cut the cord
on landline phone services.
Will Phillips is the state director for AARP Minnesota. He says some older folks in the state don’t want to give up their land lines. One proposal would prohibit the regulation of voice over Internet phone services but Phillips says as a result, those companies could stop servicing traditional landlines.
