Heroin Task Force Looks At Meth

They haven’t solved the heroin problem in La Crosse County…but members of a

local task force are ready to expand the group’s mission. The county Heroin and Illicit Drug Task Force was founded over a year ago.  In that time, heroin use appears to have dropped in the area, while the use of meth has grown quickly.  Task force co-chair Mike Desmond says a talk with another man has made him want to learn more about meth:

Desmond expects the task force to bring in experts over the next few months to help suggest ways of fighting meth addiction.
