Billings Says Here We Are Again On Healthcare

A new BadgerCare money bill being circulated, adopts an approach taken

by Iowa’s Republican Governor Terry Branstad, which has eligibility limits and a mix of public and private insurance virtually identical to a plan adopted by Wisconsin two years ago. At a press conference in La Crosse Monday, State Representative, Jill Billings says the gathering about the health care topic was awfully familiar to her.

The bill is sponsored by Representative Daniel Riemer. He was on hand as were Democrats Steve Doyle and Chris Danou and the group, Citizen Action Wisconsin.
