Vacant Lot Parks Could be Future for La Crosse Neighborhood

What looks better in a neighborhood?  A vacant lot, or a little park?  Chair of La Crosse’s Powell-Poage-Hamilton neighborhood association, Andrew Londre figures he knows the answer.  He’s working on plans to develop little pop-up parks in his neighborhood

Londre would like to focus on city-owned vacant lots for the pop-up parks right now.  No budget estimates for the projects, he tells us; but he can’t imagine spending more than a couple hundred dollars on each.
