La Crosse Police Announce Citizen Academy
Another round of the Citizens Police Academy in La Crosse this spring. Police are looking for about 20 volunteers to learn about life behind the badge, says sergeant Randy Rank
Among other things, participants in the grant-funded academy will shoot at the department range, drive a squad car and can volunteer to get tased. Applications for the 10 session course are due by this month on the 25th.
