All Eyes On Budget Tonight

Governor Scott Walker formally rolls out his proposed 2015-’17 state budget

tonight and with it could come a proposed $300 million cut to the University of Wisconsin System. UW-L Chancellor Joe Gow says yes he is worried about the budget.

A cut that large would mean $12 million less for UW-L over the next two years. And if a 2 year tuition freeze comes with the package, that would mean less money for UW-L period. A double whammy could happen just after 7pm tonight says Gow.
