Tomah Gets Fed Visit To V.A.

The whistle blower and the investigator did not get together.

V.A. under-secretary Carolyn Clancy says she wanted to meet with Ryan Honl about his claims of rampant drug use at the Tomah V-A hospital.  Honl showed up for a news conference by Clancy on Friday, but was led out of the room before the event, with officials saying the briefing was for the media only.  Clancy knows that many workers are nervous about telling what they know:

And Clancy told reporters in Tomah that she understood Honl did not want to speak with her.
