Students, Staff Rally Around Principal
The halls of Northside Elementary were filled with students and staff in
pink clothes Tuesday as they all rallied to support Principal Laura Huber who began treatment for a breast cancer diagnosis. Sue Peterson is with the school district. She says they have used Huber’s diagnosis as a learning tool somewhat .
Peterson says Huber came through surgery Tuesday with a thumbs up. Her treatments could keep her from the school she helped form, for quite a while.
