Viking Cruise Lines Coming

Viking boats may be coming to La Crosse in a couple of years…not with

actual Vikings, though. The Viking cruise line operates in Asia and Europe now, but plans to begin American river tours by the summer of 2017.  And these are not small boats, according to Dave Clements from the La Crosse Convention Bureau:

Representatives of Viking visited La Crosse City Hall on Monday, to learn about the city’s riverfront dock, and the river traffic that already comes here during the summer.
