Last Leg Of Highway 16 Construction Set

The Wisconsin DOT is now set to begin construction on a much needed stretch

of Highway 16….the third leg of a 4 year project. Project Manager, Todd Waldo says few concerns about the project were brought up at a public meeting last week.

The project, from Landfill Road to the La Crosse River Bridge, is designed to reconstruct the roadway into a four lane divided highway with numerous safety enhancements, including dedicated left turn lanes and a multi use path. Construction set to begin in March 2016.
