Walker Tops In Local GOP Poll
Scott Walker for president? The idea is quite appealing to members of the La
Crosse County Republican Party. At a meeting this weekend, the party conducted a presidential straw poll, and Wisconsin’s governor came in first with 18 per cent. What did county party chairman Bill Feehan think?
Walker came in four points ahead of Rand Paul…with Jeb Bush in third place, and Mitt Romney in fourth. Feehan says about 30 possible Republican candidates were in the field for that poll.
