Sparta Has New Police Chief

The Sparta Police Department has announced that Lt. David Kuderer will

be the city’s new Chief of Police. The Sparta Police Commission voted unanimously to offer the position to Kuderer. He has been a member of the department for 34 years, serving as a Lieutenant for the last 8 years.

Kuderer will be formally sworn in at the next City Council meeting January 21st, at 6:30 pm.
