AAA Says Economy Not Gas Prices Driving People Out

Almost 950 thousand Wisconsinites will either drive or fly home to
their families Thanksgiving celebrations. That’s according to the state’s Triple A, which expects a 4% increase in holiday travel from a year ago. Nick Jarmusz of the auto club says one area to watch when driving back home Sunday, is around I-43 and Highway 41 where there’s a Packer game…..hunters coming home and holiday travelers.
About 90 percent of travelers will go by car, and the rest will fly. Nationally, 46 million Americans plan to go at least 50 miles one way for Thanksgiving….. the most since 2007.
