‘ We Went Into Action After The Explosion’
It was a blast that shook the city of La Crosse. Now the investigation
into what caused a huge explosion and fire at Midwest Fuels Wednesday in La Crosse continues today.
Midwest Fuels Safety Director, Lori Berg says they went into action seconds after the blast.
7 thousand gallons of asphalt and diesel burned for almost 2 hours before fire fighters got the blaze under control. The huge tank and a neighboring one were destroyed. Facility president, Steve Mathy hopes they can find out what went wrong.
