Student Draws in Family Tragedy to Focus Senior Project
Krystal Burrows was a freshman in high school when her cousin was shot and killed in a La Crosse apartment. Now, a senior at West Salem High school, Krystal has raised more than 13 hundred dollars as part of her senior project and donated all of it to the La Crosse police department which solved the murder
The donation from Burrows will be used to support the department’s Neighborhood Response Officer Program. Burrows and her mom presented a check to the department this week.
