AED’s Given To Sparta Police
Kate Dunnum, Development Specialist with the Franciscan Healthcare
Foundation says they have partnered with the Sparta Police Department in helping them secure AEDs for their squad cars. She says having an automated external defibrillator on hand at a sudden cardiac arrest emergency greatly improves the person’s odds of survival.
Mayo has donated funds to help purchase the AEDs for the department meaning all 6 squad cars there are now equipped.
