Happ Again Campaigns In La Crosse

She’s in the middle of a nasty battle for the attorney general’s office in

Wisconsin, which will be settled in next Tuesday’s election. But Susan Happ was in La Crosse last night to promote something besides her own political campaign.  The Democratic D-A of Jefferson County appeared at a local rally to pass referendums on providing funding for Badgercare and raising the state’s minimum wage:

Happ worked in a dig at her opponent, Republican Brad Schimel.  She said that Schimel, who’s against the minimum wage increase, has been on the public payroll ‘his whole life.’
