UW-L Students Vote For Referendum Today

In the past, students at UW-L have voted for referendums in droves. Usually

between 2 thousand and 2500 come to the polls. Hopes are that many turn out today for online referendum to build in indoor field house on campus. Chancellor Joe Gow says this project is different from the expansion of the Recreational Eagle Center which was approved by students earlier this year.

Students approved a $14 dollar per year increase to student fees for that project back in April. Gow says if this referendum is approved, student fees would rise…spread out over 30 years.
