Family Zone Returns for Fest

Want to go to the Oktoberfest Maple Leaf parade this year?  Don’t

want to be surrounded by people who may or may not be drinking responsibly?  Once again, this year, the so-called Family Zone could be the solution for you.  The Changing the Culture of Risky Drinking Behavior Coalition has just announced its special alcohol-free zone will be open to the public this year.  It’s set up on Copeland Avenue across the street from the Festival Foods.   Fourth year for the special parade-watching area which not only doesn’t allow booze but no tobacco products, either.  Hundreds have showed up at the site every since the Coaltion started hosting the Family Zone.  No charge to get in.  Bleachers are provided.
