100th Birthday Picnic Planned For Wisconsin 4-H At W. Salem Fairgrounds

The name ‘4-H’ may remind you of farm kids raising animals for the county fair…

But the 4-H program has branched out a lot since it came to Wisconsin 100 years ago:

Bob Matysik (MAT-uh-sick) is the 4-H agent for the La Crosse County Extension office.  He’s organizing a centennial picnic for past and present 4-H members in the county.  It’s scheduled for Sunday, September 7th, at the fairgrounds in West Salem.
