Schimel Talks Stabbings, Heroine In La Crosse

Even law enforcement officials find it hard to understand the stabbing of a

12-year-old girl in Waukesha, by two other girls. Brad Schimel is the district attorney for Waukesha County, where two pre-teen girls face attempted murder charges in the case:

Schimel, a candidate for Wisconsin attorney general, says a long-time prosecutor in his office has been assigned to the stabbing case.  The two suspects say they attacked the victim to please a fictional character on a website.
