PSC Approves Aplication For The Badger-Coulee Transmission Line Project

The Public Service Commission last week announced that the application

for the Badger-Coulee transmission line project, submitted by American Transmission Company and Xcel Energy, has been deemed complete and the public can now officially weigh-in on the proposal. Senator Jeniffer Shilling says now’s the the time for you to weigh in on the project.

The proposed high-voltage transmission line would connect to the CapX2020 line at the Briggs Road Substation in Holmen and continue on to Madison. The PSC now has 180 days, with a 180-day extension option, to take final action on the proposal.
