Compassion On Display At Pump House

It may be the largest art exhibition ever staged at La Crosse’s Pump House,

in terms of volume. Six thousand pieces of art, each mainly confined to a 36-square-inch canvas, have been created by young people to demonstrate the concept of ‘compassion.’  Tim Riley from the La Crosse Public Education Foundation spearheaded the Compassion art project, with help from local schools.  Riley talks about plans beyond the art display:

Local government officials also have created some tiles for the Pump House display.
