Shut Off Ban Ends With Big Bills Owed

With Wisconsin’s utility shut off ban ending today, you might think the numbers of those behind on their utility bills would be much greater than last year.  Not so, says Xcel Energy’s Liz Wolf Green.  Surprising for a couple reasons, she says.  First, it was by far the coldest winter in three decades

Although the number of customers who owe on their utility bills is about the same, says Wolf Green, the amounts of those bills are about 15% higher this year.
