Likely Feels Cheated In Tomah Mayor Race
For former Tomah Mayoral Candidate, Jeremy Likely, a primary loss last month
to Tomah city councilman, Leroy Kelsey was a tough pill to swollow. Finding out that Kelsey is a convicted felon and should not have been able to run in the first place, he tells us is a bit more painful.
The City Attorney in Tomah and the Monroe County D.A.’s office is investigating the fact that Kelsey was convicted of felony theft back in 1990 and the fact that, according to state law, he cannot run or be seated in any public office. The election is April 1st.
