Citizen Action of Wisconsin, State Rep. Steve Doyle, State Rep. Melissa

Sargent and members of the La Crosse County board held media event Thursday to call for accepting enhanced federal funds for BadgerCare. Sargent says over 4 thousand people in La Crosse County could use about $117 million in federal dollars now.

In total, over 84 thousand in the state cannot get on Badgercare unless the legislation is approved. Sargent is still seeking sponsors for her bill. 19 counties in the state including La Crosse have already approved resolutions supprting it.
