Ready To Rec And Roll?
La Crosse’s Winter Rec Fest has a number of traditions that carry on, year
after year. Such as, the medallion search…the euchre and sheepshead tournaments…and Ryan Olson winning his category in the button design contest. Ryan is a Logan High student who has taken first place in his age group for button design for five years in a row now. He says he’s getting used to it:
Helen Hale, Mari Jayne Kirchoff, and Michael Moore also won prizes for their Rec Fest button designs. The design by six-year-old Michael of a snowman and a hill will be on the official festival button for this year.
