Protesters Brave Cold At Kind’s Office

A treaty between the U-S and several Pacific countries is being called a ‘job

killer’ for Americans…and La Crosse’s Ron Kind is being slammed for supporting it.

 

About 20 protesters met outside Congressman Kind’s office in La Crosse yesterday to get Kind to change his mind.  State AFL-CIO president Phil Neuenfeldt says trade deals are no good for American workers…and that goes for the T-P-P agreement:

Protesters argue that union members and dairy farmers are among the people who would be hurt by the pact.  They say the White House and Congress are trying to pass the deal in secrecy.
