Gun Play Nets Arrest and Errant Sheriff Badge

The Monroe County Sheriff’s department will get some property returned this week.  A badge that La Crosse city cops collected this week-end after arresting a man on gun charges.  Cops say Darrell Gosa got into an argument with another guy in Gosa’s basement.  An argument, apparently, over music.  Ended with Gosa sticking a gun in the other guy’s face.  Cops say Gosa was really drunk.  They seized his gun and the Monroe county sheriff’s badge.  Not clear yet why Gosa had the badge as he does not appear to be currently employed by the department.
