Violent Sex Offender On The Loose

Prairie du Chien police are on the look out for a violent sex offender. Willard Tyler, 46 years old, has now been missing since late Sunday after cutting off his electronic detention bracelet.

Police went to Tyler’s house around 11 p.m. Sunday to attempt a probation and parole arrest, but when they entered the house they found his ankle monitoring device on the floor. Police say they immediately sent out an electronic nationwide alert through the dispatch center to law enforcement agencies.

Tyler is a 5-foot-8, 180-pound white male.
