Burke Visits La Crosse
For months before Mary Burke became an official candidate for governor of
Wisconsin, Governor Scott Walker’s party was taking aim at her. The state Republican Party has labeled Burke as a ‘Madison millionaire,’ and as a candidate already chosen by Democratic party leaders to win the primary. When Burke campaigned in La Crosse this weekend, she didn’t discourage others from getting into the primary:
