A 62 year-old man and his dog are still on the mend after getting attacked by a pit bull who got off leash on East Avenue several days ago. Police say the guy was watering his flowers when the pit bull attacked. Getting his little dog first and, when, the guy intervened, chomping down on his forearm. Took the victim, his wife, a neighbor and a two-by-four to finally convince the pit bull to let go. The man and his dog needed stitches.
