The planned 1,100-mile path across Wisconsin will highlight glacial features

in 31 counties. The Ice Age Trail Alliance has completed 640 miles so far. The newest section will be in the Town of Kewaskum in Washington County. It will fill in a gap in the trail so there’s a continuous 36-mile segment from Glenbeulah, at the upper end of the Kettle Moraine State Forest in Sheboygan County, to Ridge Road, south of the Sunburst Ski Area. Ice Age Trail Alliance Operations Director Tim Malzhan says that volunteers began work Wednesday and more than 100 are expected to help on Friday and Saturday.
