Crash Critically Injures One

A Sparta man has critical injuries after a truck crash this morning. It

happened just before 4:30 on Highway 16 in Monroe County. 21 year old Landon Wilson crossed the center line in his pickup truck, swerved across the highway, struck some trees and ended up in a ditch. He was trapped in the truck and had to be extricated. Wilson was taken to a La Crosse Hospital with critical injuries. Alcohol is a factor in this crash.

 

The crash remains under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
