Deadline Coming For Pet Registration

If you own a dog or a cat in LaCrosse county you have until the end of the month to get them registered.  Heather Schmid with the Coulee Region Humane Society reminds us all dogs have to licensed and most municipalities in the county require cats to be licensed as well.  Heather says you can register with your local treasurer or at the Humane Society.  If you wait until after the deadline you will have to pay a late fee.  If you get caught with an unregistered pet it could run you a couple of hundred bucks in fines.
