Ace on Agenda Between Mayor, Police
A meeting on river drownings today in La Crosse city hall. Mayor Matt Harter says he’s meeting with police on issues surrounding drowning deaths in the waters around the city. The mayor says he’ll meet with members of the alcohol compliance team as well as other police brass. Members of the “Ace” team were recently assigned to additional duties as the police department dealt with budget constraints. The Ace team was something that came about after other recent drunken river drownings
