Vernon County man gets 11 years in prison for plotting to sell meth and fentanyl
A Coon Valley man has been sentenced to federal prison for conspiring to distribute fentanyl and meth.
Stanley Holte will go to prison for 11-and-a-half years, to be followed by 5 years on supervised release. Law officers searched Holte’s home last June, and found three pounds of meth, along with 31 grams of fentanyl and about $50,000 in cash.
Holte was arrested while trying to drive away from his home, along with passenger Damien Reinsvold. Officers found two pounds of meth under a car seat.
Another resident of the house, Julia Lloyd, was sentenced last month to 6-and-a-half years in prison for conspiring with Holte to supply drugs throughout the area. Holte had been released from prison within the past two years.
