Holmen murder suspect found not guilty by jury in death of her husband
A jury Friday found Lori Phillips not guilty of killing her husband.
The jury deliberated for three and a half hours, before coming to a decision after the week-long trial headed by Judge Elliott Levine.
The 53-year-old Phillips was accused of 2nd degree reckless homicide, for running her husband Mark Phillips over with a truck, after an argument.
The verdict comes a day after Phillips took the stand and said she didn’t try to hit her husband with the truck.
Phillips had claimed she discovered Mark’s body in the snow the morning after the fight.

Even her lawyer said it was one of the worst prosecuting jobs he’s ever seen. When you run over someone, you know it. We need a new DA.
