FILE - The first farmers' market to begin the 2023 season in La Crosse's Cameron Park.

Burns and Cameron parks in La Crosse are closed through Friday.

The city’s Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department sent out the notice Monday.

The closures are for maintenance, including tree inspections, cleaning and park repairs, according to the city.

Friday’s Cameron Park farmers’ market will take place as scheduled.

The notice comes a week prior to a “Homeless Strategy Update” La Crosse’s city council is hosting with the La Crosse County Board. No other info on that meeting has been provided, however.
