Throughout the show we talked about some of the important things that happened at last week’s monthly county board meeting, including $2 million in funding for youth skilled trades training, potential $3 million more for fixing roads, and $500k for PFAS research.

We also discussed some initiatives to help homeless and prevent homelessness, including an Eviction Defense Program, bridge housing and an upcoming meeting between the city, county and others on those who are unsheltered.

Another important topic was the potential options of converting some of the Hillview Healthcare (senior) Center.

We also learned the county has a new administrative assistance in Sara Coopman.
