Iowa woman dies after accident at 3M in PDC

A 57-year-old woman has died after an apparent work accident at the 3M plant on the north end of Prairie du Chien.

The person who died on Tuesday has been identified as Trisha Jones of Harpers Ferry, Iowa.

Police in Prairie have not revealed many details about what led to Jones’s fatal injuries. OSHA is continuing to investigate.

The 3M factory along Highway 35 has primarily produced abrasive material for sponges.
