Students from Richland county will be able to attend UW-La Crosse for the same tuition they would have paid at UW-Platteville Richland

The announcement came after UW-Platteville Richland announced the end of in-person classes starting this July.

The two-year campus has faced seven years of declining enrollment which led to the decsision to close the campus.

UWL chancellor Joe Gow said that they are eager to provide students from Richland County an opportunity to continue their education and they hope to make the transfer to UWL “as seamless as possible”
