New clerk of court to be sworn in next week in La Crosse
After more than 40 years in the La Crosse County clerk of courts office, Pam Radtke retires at the end of this week.
Radtke has spent the last 25 years as the elected clerk of courts, first winning that job a year before the current courthouse opened.
There’s still a year-and-a-half left in Radtke’s term, and the county has chosen administrative clerk Kelly Goyette to succeed Radtke.
Goyette will be sworn in as the new court clerk on Monday morning by Judge Ramona Gonzalez.
Goyette has worked in the clerk of courts office for four years, and she’ll serve out the rest of Radtke’s term, through the fall election of 2022.
