94th District debate today: Doyle faces challengers Brown, Hoyer

Another local debate Wednesday, among Wisconsin state legislature candidates.

Incumbent Democratic Assembly member Steve Doyle, of the 94th District, will debate with challengers LeRoy Brown, an independent, and Republican Kevin Hoyer. Doyle has held the seat since 2011.

Wisconsin’s 94th and 95th Assembly districts.

The hour-long debate will begin at 12:45 p.m. and be moderated by University of Wisconsin-La Crosse political science professor, Dr. Anthony Chergosky.

This is the second of three debates this week and five overall.

The next debates will be:

— Friday, 9:30 a.m. — 96th Assembly: Rep. Loren Oldenburg (inc) vs. Dem. Josefine Jaynes

— Oct. 20, 3:30 p.m. — 32nd Senate: Dem. Brad Pfaff vs. Rep. Dan Kapanke

— Oct. 28, 12:45 p.m. — 3rd Congressional District: Dem. Ron Kind (inc) vs. Rep. Derrick Van Orden

The first debate was Monday for the 95th Assembly, between Dem. incumbent Jill Billings and Rep. challenger Jerome Gundersen.
