A La Crosse man is charged in federal court with dealing meth, as a result of an arrest last fall.

Lucas Carpenter could get up to 60 years in prison if he’s convicted on two drug-related counts.

La Crosse police arrested Carpenter in November, accusing him of supplying meth to a second man who had just sold drugs to a police informant in a parking lot on West Avenue.

Officers found 17 grams of meth in Carpenter’s vehicle.
