Friday is application deadline in La Crosse for small business grants
Small businesses in La Crosse which would like financial help during the coronavirus outbreak have until the end of the week, on April 24th, to apply to City Hall.
Andrea Schnick from the city planning office says about 60 businesses already have applied, since the city council approved the Small Business Relief Grants earlier this month.
Companies can seek between $1000 and $25,000 in funding, with the maximum rate for funding at $5000 for every 10 employees at a business.
Businesses applying must provide evidence of potential job loss because of coronavirus, and must show that they can retain jobs for at least six months because of the grant.
