La Crosse County COVID test rate less than 2 percent positive

The La Crosse County Health Department did not have many updates for COVID-19 cases, but the department did release new information about those infected.

Health Director Jennifer Rombalski says of the 26 infected, 60 percent had underlying health conditions, and 67 percent were under age 60.

As of Friday, one person was still hospitalized, and 23 people recovered.

Statewide, the number of COVID-19 deaths increase by eight to 205 with 4,045 confirmed cases. There were 1,153 reported hospitalizations. While La Crosse County only has a 1.8 percent positive test rate, the state is at 8.7 percent.

Minnesota recorded 111 deaths, up 17 from Thursday. Cases increased to 2,071. Iowa added 191 cases reaching 2,332 total with 64 deaths.

The COVID-19 Iowa totals jumped 191 Friday and are now up to 2,332 confirmed cases. Iowa had four more deaths, bringing that total to 64.

    I was sick and they wouldn’t test me. I everything and no test. Stop acting like we got this. It’s annoying
