About 100 homeowners have signed up for a new program that helps them install energy-efficient upgrades to lower utility bills and help the environment.

The program is through Citizen Action of Wisconsin, which director Kevin Kain says will take the first step in the war against climate change.

Associated Bank has teamed with the organization as a way to keep project costs down for those who enroll.

“People in this program will show that creating good jobs in renewable energy and energy efficiency is possible and will happen here in Southwest Wisconsin,” Kane said.
