Houston County farmhouse searched by federal agents

FREEBURG, Minn. — Federal agents are investigating something at a farm house in Houston County, near Freeburg.

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATC) searched the property Tuesday, as part of a long-term investigation. They, however, didn’t say what they were looking for or what they found.

Investigators were seen searching a house, a shed and a number of vehicles on the property.

The Minnesota State fire marshal was also represented at the scene, along with the Minnesota DNR and police from Des Moines, Iowa.  

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
