A man and woman in Jackson County are being charged with drug trafficking, after a traffic stop last week in Black River Falls.

A police officer found possible evidence of trafficking in the car during the stop of Friday morning, and had a drug-sniffing dog brought in to help search the vehicle.

That search turned up meth, marijuana, illegal prescriptions, and $8400 in cash.

Carl Luther of Black River Falls and Desiree Johnson of Melrose are now facing drug possession charges in Jackson County court.
